Stewards are the first line of our defence when trouble arises, helping keep things running smoothly all around the event. You’ll be jumping in with crowd control, safety checks, guest escorts, and backing up our security and first aid teams. It’s a fast-paced role right in the middle of the action, and a great way to make a real difference. If you're up for it, we’d love to have you on board!
Dates and details regarding AnimeCon 2026 haven't been announced yet, but if you're interested in joining us, please go ahead and apply! We'll get back to you to confirm once the details are set.
What is expected of you?
- You're at least 18 years of age during AnimeCon 2026, and are able to communicate clearly in both Dutch and English.
- You're able to help us out with about 16 hours of shifts during the festival. Any events that you really want to attend as a visitor will of course be taken into account.
What do you get from us?
- A free ticket to the festival; we'll either refund your AnimeCon 2026 ticket, or issue you a free one for one of our future events.
- The ability to book a room in a nearby hotel at a discounted rate, right across the corner from the venue.
- Breakfast, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, beers and other nibbles during the festival, as well as a place to relax in our Volunteer Lounge.
- Access to the Crew & Steward channels on the AnimeCon Discord, and access to our WhatsApp group where we discuss anything and everything about our festival.
